Well, on the 28th of April, I'll be going away to serve my National Service so I'll have no access to anything electronic for about 16 days. I'll be back on the 14th of May though and subsequent weekends. Hope I don't miss any big news when I'm away
What sucks is that during my birthday(on the 30th of April), I'll be stuck on some island doing military training. But I guess that's life.

Hope everything works out fine for you during that time.

Are you in Singapore?
At least you don't have to serve for two years or something. ^^
Safe trip!

Are you in Singapore?
Yes, I'm in Singapore. I'll have to undergo basic military for 3 months and I can't come home for the first 16 days. After the first 16 days, I'll only be allowed to come home during the weekends. After my 3 months, I'll be posted to some job in the military for the next one and a half years but at least I get paid $400 a month and my work hours are the normal 8am-5pm.

Mostly males that are done with their tertiary studies. Its compulsory for males but females can choose to serve if they want...

I actually like the whole military service thing, since it teaches you a lot of useful things that will carry you throughout your entire life such as discipline, mental toughness, and physical fitness. But, yeah, the whole "being away from home for long periods of time" thing does suck really bad, and I personally wouldn't like it myself (seeing as how I'm on the internet at least once a day and all lol).
Anyway, good luck to you, 180223. I'm sure it'll be a very positive experience in the long run. I just hope they don't stick you with a unit full of crappy people to begin with lol.

Good luck with everything and I hope you have a safe time!
And happy early birthday as well! ^_^
P.S.
Don't forget to check under the large curtain in the back for the mech that they're hiding
The keys are definetly already in the cockpit, so you can Gundam-Jack it anytime your ready to bust out of the place ;)

Three months of basic isn't terribly bad. It's still two years for us, which is a massive time suck, but whatever, c'est la vie. On the plus side, it'll be a good chance to get/stay in shape. I'm none for the military, but I'm with Great Boota on the training: it's actually pretty handy.
Anyhow, good luck.

I'm back after 3 days of eating nothing but rations/biscuits, sleeping on wet mud, not being able to bath/shit and having my entire body and equipment covered in mud.
You know what's next? I have to endure another 5 days and 4 nights, 2 weeks from now.

Anyway, you have a 2 week vacation? Enjoy it while you can, Dude!

Why can't you go poo-poo?
To embarrassed to go in front of others?
It's bad for your body if you try to hold it in
Just let it out, it'll make you and your body feel better
Good luck with everything and stay safe :)

LOL, you make it sound so easy but seriously, the mood to shit disappears when you are stuck in the jungle with mud that smells like shit everywhere.

Oh, I have had nightmares but lets not talk about those.
I have had to have about 6 hours of sleep per day, lots of physical training, learning how to use weapons like a grenade and rifle, learning to eat and sleep in the jungle, being away from home for long periods, doing guard duty and marching 4km,6km,8km,12km,16km and 24km with a heavy bag + helmet + rifle + body armour.
Oh and I learned a lot of vulgarities along the way

Nice, using grenades must have been fun. I'm sure the training will be useful throughout your life, you know, when the Shadow Mirrors decide to invade, or for more mundane things like a job, were you can be thankful that you are not in a jungle, eating rations, sleeping on mud. Gives life some perspective and motivation, something everyone can use and is priceless.
Random question though, could you have done navy or air force basic instead or does everyone have to do army basic? All I know is if I had to do basic, I'd stick with the military, as I'd probably go into something like a tank commander, ship officer, pilot or some kind of mechanic, mostly for the experience of dealing with such advanced machines and electronics.

Everyone has to do army basic first before they can branch out.
