And debuts still count for the franchise for those games, regardless of how certain fans may feel. Banpresto themselves count them, and that's what really matters. X-Omega will continue to get the big debuts too, it's basically the most important entry in the franchise at this point since it brings in a lot of money.

Which is especially important as no other SRW since, like, fucking Z2-1 had great sales numbers. OG games sell like shit, things that aren’t series games don’t usually sell well, and Z degenerated in sales over time.

Which is why we need something like a killer mainline SRW. Not OG.
But we do know that they'll reuse assets to cut costs. Oh well...

This happens every SRW. The whole "Scrambled Eggs and Mobage dont count as SRW Because I dont like them or theyre different.

Despite the fact that both are officially recognized amd worked on by the same people who make the mainline games. Such as Terada who coincidently once he dicided je wanted in on the mobage action managed to make XO even worse.

Also it'll be OG5 with the Solis girls added in. Sony already announced PS4 ia dead n3xt year so they need to rehash the OG4 engine and assests one more time before then.

Another mainline game would just be 80% reused assets again and they already got flack about that over X.

Mecha anime and mecha games aren't as popular as they used to be. Its become more niche now. A SRW game can be good but those days of PS2 and PSP game sales are long gone now. Although that is also the case for various other game franchises too aside from the AAA ones.

Although current regular SRW games do re-cope their costs a bit by making DLC and premium sound editions and that digital downloads are not counted as part of the media create sales numbers. SRW isn't really hurting, as much as I don't like the mobile game, it does let them make more SRW games because of the profit.

Well, if the Solis team does get in, I hope they have actual personalities this time around. Course, that won't be for another 1-2 OG games down the line (and that's not counting Gaiden-type games).

I'd buy a switch just to see what a SRW Pikachu looks like!!!

Maybe they'll make Super Robot Wars with crossover Tokusatsu in it?
Put Ultraman, Sentai, Kamen Rider and Space Sheriff in it.
Wait, it has already been done before...

I'm telling you.. they made a mistake stretching out the Z series. I feel like that jaded a lot of the fanbase.
